Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a member of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also was the company's producer costume/set designer music director, composer and coach for text. While she was usually the leader inside her ensemble of actors In her final year of work with SSC King Lear, she became a director and lighting designer.
